I published this poetic book Drishti
Duare in 1979. It took only Taka one
thousand (US$18) to publish 100 copies
of this book. My uncle Haji Abul
Kalam funded 50 percent of the cost
and the rest I managed from my
savings. At that time I was a school
going boy studying at class nine in
Saint Gregory's High School in Dhaka.
My nick name was Milky and still it is.
Khwaja Alaul Haque made the cover
page of this book. He is my cousin
and now running a school in
Mymensing. Here I have scanned the
pages of the book and put it here.
